Here’s a Little Something About Me
Never fear to Do Something You Want – Even After 75!
“Do not complain about growing old. It is a privilege denied to many.” Mark Twain
Hello! Let me introduce myself.
I’ve reached that magical point in my YouTube journey where “a few videos” has quietly transformed into over 600, and suddenly my channel feels less like a playlist and more like a digital jungle.
So now I’m dreaming up a website—a cozy little home on the internet where all my gardening, DIY, home projects, and whatever-else-I’ve-filmed adventures can finally be sorted, categorized, and tamed.
Think of it as building a well‑labeled tool shed for my content… except instead of shovels and pruning shears, I’m organizing garden tours, home makeovers, plant rescues, and the occasional “what was I thinking” project.
The goal is simple: make it easier for my viewers (and let’s be honest, for me too) to find exactly what they’re looking for without having to scroll through years of uploads like they’re on an archaeological dig.
A website gives me the chance to group videos by topic, season, project type, or even by how much dirt was under my fingernails that day. It’s my way of saying, “Yes, I have a lot of videos… and no, you don’t need a treasure map to find the one you want.”
So how about exploring some of these videos and see what I can help you with from my own experience. I hope you enjoy!

I am Kim, a retired Salesperson, selling property and casualty insurance for almost 20 years.
Prior to that I sold real estate and was licensed in Ohio.
Married with two grown children, I have one grandson. A small family indeed. But I am blessed with the best in the world. Both children live near me and I see them at least once a week.
I retired only a bit early in 2011 and have happily worked in my flower garden and made a lot of hypertufa planters. Year round I also putter around with my houseplants.
I guess I have too many but don’t tell my husband I said that!

Just in case you wonder, or find some old reference in my videos, I used to have a website The Hypertufa Gardener, but I took that down in October 2024. It was too much to maintain both the channel and the website. FYI
